About Cable Bay Kayaks
We were born in the 90's.
Cable Bay Kayaks was born in the 90's by well-known Cable Bay resident Nick Woods. While Nick's no longer at the reins, he gives us a hand from time to time and we're proud to continue the legacy and share this incredible, and relatively unknown, area with like-minded adventurers. Join us on the water to experience Cable Bay at it's best.

We offer you the safety and assurance of local knowledge and have a great respect the environment and the rich Maori and European history this beautiful area holds. We're committed to sustainable tourism and have been featured on the Discovery Channel and in Conde Nast magazine.
We're all about the water
Cable Bay Kayaks are members of the Sea Kayak Operators Association of New Zealand (S.K.O.A.N.Z.) and adhere to their code of practice, and are also members of the Kiwi Association of Sea Kayakers (K.A.S.K.)
