Guided Kayak Tours
in smaller groups
We take you on a kayak adventure through an incredibly diverse area, that is just 20 mins from Nelson. Cable Bay is a beautiful pebble beach, which also holds an important piece of Kiwi history. Nestled in beside it is Pepin Island; which boasts an intricate labyrinth of caves, corridors and islets – navigable only by kayak.
We are the only kayak operator on these beautiful waters, and often we are the only boats in sight!
Memorable Experiences
in a unique place
We know nature is best experienced in smaller groups, so we’ve kept our tour groups small too.
We’re all about curated authentic and memorable experiences, and our kayak tours centre around ensuring every trip is personal and has you in mind. We want you to come off the water feeling invigorated, refreshed and with a mind packed with great memories from your experience at Cable Bay. We cherish unique places, and look forward to sharing it with you too.
The Breathtaking Area
of Cable Bay and Pepin Island
The area comprises Cable and Delaware Bays separated by Pepin Island with the Wakapuaka estuary in behind. Cable Bay beach is a natural boulder barrier to the sea and the rugged coastline is part of the Nelson mineral belt. These old igneous formations weathered by the sea form an intricate labyrinth of caves, corridors and islets navigable only by kayak.
